Memorial Day Ceremonies:

Monday, May 27, 9:30 a.m., Honeysuckle Beach for Wreath Laying Ceremony and/or 11:00 a.m. McIntire Family Park Stage, behind Hayden City Hall. Join us in remembering our veterans on this very special day. Presented by the City of Hayden Veterans Commission. Dog Days of Summer-Fest:

Saturday, June 22, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., located at Pawfoot Dog Park (inside Croffoot Park on Lancaster Ave.) This family friendly event is sponsored by ICCU!  Join us for fun in the sunshine!  Vendors, bouncy houses, food, doggie dash and more!  Additional details to follow.

Hayden “Movie-in-the Park” Summer Kick-Off:

Sponsored by ICCU: Thursday, June 27, 8:30 p.m. (Dusk), McIntire Family Park. The summer event series will kick-off with an animated superhero movie at McIntire Family Park on June 27 featuring the film “Spider Man-Into the Spider Verse!” Bring the whole family to watch teen Miles Morales become Spiderman of his reality.  This event is free to the public, and popcorn will be provided by the Hayden Discount Cinemas.  For more information, please call 208-209-1080.

Hayden Bike Rodeo:

Wednesday, June 26, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Hayden Community Library. The annual bike rodeo for ages 5-12 years includes an obstacle course, helmet testing, bike tune-up. Conducted by the Hayden Parks & Recreation Commission in cooperation with the Hayden Community Library.

Hayden Summer Concert Series:

July 11-August 22, 6:00-8:30 p.m., McIntire Family Park. Free to the public! Concerts are held Thursday evenings from July 11-August 22, except July 25 (due to Hayden Days).  For more information please call 208-209-1080. The line-up will be posted as bands are scheduled.

Hayden Days:

Friday, July 26 & Saturday, July 27, McIntire Family Park. Our Event Sponsor is Idaho Central Credit Union!  Beginning on Friday at 2:00 p.m., the community kicks off its festivities with live music, dancing, food and craft vendors, and the Hayden Sr. Center Beer Garden. Saturday features NLFD Pancake Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. at the Northern Lakes Fire Station and the Hayden Days Parade @ 10:00 a.m. along Government Way. The Hayden Days car show takes place on Saturday, July 27 and is sponsored by Hayden Cars. The Hayden's Got Talent Show will also take place on Saturday, July 27th at the stage and will feature local performers. Children's games, food, craft vendors and other activities are planned throughout each day. For further information please call 208-209-1080.

Missoula Children’s Theater:

Princess Pedalfest:

Saturday, August 3, 7:30 a.m.-60 miles, 8:00 a.m.-45 miles, 9:00 a.m. -25 miles, Croffoot Park. A women’s-only, non-competitive bike ride, providing three different distances and challenges to promote the opportunity for a broad range of women cyclists.  Proceeds help support a local charity of interest to women and children. National Night Out:

 Tuesday, August 6, 4:00-8:00 p.m., McIntire Family Park. Hosted by the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office and Target.  Help your community become safer and decrease crime by attending the Annual Night Out. Spokane to Sandpoint Relay:

Friday, August 16-Saturday, August 17, 9:00 p.m.-3:00 a.m., Croffoot Park. In addition to producing exceptional events, the mission of Cascade Relays is to support local non-profits, school groups, and community organizations as well as local businesses in the communities we travel through. Hayden “Movie-in-the Park” Summer Finale:

Sponsored by P1FCU: Thursday, August 29, 8:00 p.m. (Dusk), McIntire Family Park. The summer event series will conclude with a family-fun finale at McIntire Family Park on August 29 featuring “Incredibles 2!” Bring the whole family to watch the hero family take on their new mission under the stars. Annual Hayden Lights Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony:

Saturday, December 7, 5:00 p.m., McIntire Family Park, sponsored by P1FCU.  The parade begins at Hayden Avenue and proceeds south along Government Way to Honeysuckle Avenue. The tree lighting ceremony immediately follows the parade in McIntire Family Park, 8930 N. Government Way. Atlas Elementary and Hayden Meadows School Choruses sing, followed by a visit from Santa.
