Coeur D'Alene Arts Association Exhibits, June 28-August 16, except July 26 due to Hayden Days, depending upon artist availability. Enjoy the talent of local artists or learn something new through an art demonstration. A variety of artists will display their work each week during the Hayden Concert Series on Thursday evenings. The art exhibits will begin at 5:00 p.m. each Thursday.

Hayden Days: Friday, July 27 & Saturday, July 28, McIntire Family Park. Beginning on Friday at 2:00 p.m., the community kicks off its festivities with live music, dancing, food and craft vendors, and the Hayden Sr. Center Beer Garden. Saturday features NLFD Pancake Breakfast @ 7:00 a.m. @ the Northern Lakes Fire Station and The Hayden Days Parade @ 10:00 a.m. along Government Way. Princess Pedalfest: Saturday, August 4, 7:30 a.m.-60 miles, 8:00 a.m.-45 miles, 9:00 a.m.-25 miles, Croffoot Park. A women’s-only, non-competitive bike ride, providing three different distances and challenges to promote the opportunity for a broad range of women cyclists. National Night Out: Tuesday, August 7, 4:00-8:00 p.m., McIntire Family Park. Hosted by the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office and Target. Help your community become safer and decrease crime by attending the Annual Night Out. Enjoy entertainment, food and drinks, giveaways for the kids and crime prevention/personal safety information. Spokane to Sandpoint Relay: Friday, August 17-Saturday, August 18, 9:00 p.m.-3:00 a.m., Croffoot Park. In addition to producing exceptional events, the mission of Cascade Relays is to support local non-profits, school groups, and community organizations as well as local businesses in the communities we travel through. Hayden “Movie-in-the Park” Summer Finale: Thursday, August 23, 8:00 p.m. (Dusk), McIntire Family Park. The summer event series will conclude with a family-fun finale at McIntire Family Park on August 23 featuring COCO. Bring the whole family to enjoy this humorous, musical, sentimental movie under the stars. City of Hayden Nights at Spokane Indians Games: Saturday, August 25 vs Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. Yoke's $1 Family Feast Night! All hotdogs, Pepsi products & ice cream sandwiches are $1.00 each. Game starts at 6:30p.m. Tickets: $11.00 each for upper box seats. Call 208-209-1080 by the Tuesday before the game to reserve tickets for this game played at Avista Stadium at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center.

Patriot Day: Tuesday, September 11, 8:30 a.m., McIntire Family Park Stage behind Hayden City Hall. Observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, occurs on September 11 of each year in memory of the people killed in the 2001 September 11 attacks.

Howl-O-Ween Doggie Dash (walk/run): Sunday, October 21, 12:00 p.m. Check-in, 1:00 p.m.-Dash Starts, Pawfoot Park (inside Croffoot Park). All ages welcome! Cost is $30-Family/$15-Individual/10 & Under-Free. Join us for the 2nd Annual Howl-O-Ween Doggie Dash! Three options for your dash: “mummy” (1/4 mile), “mad” (1/2 mile) or “monster” (1 mile). First 75 registrants receive a “doggie” bag! Trick or Treat along the course, costume contests & give-a-ways! It will be spooktacular for the whole family!! Annual Hayden Lights Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: Saturday, December 1, 5:00 p.m., McIntire Family Park. The parade begins at Hayden Avenue and proceeds south along Government Way to Honeysuckle Avenue. The tree lighting ceremony immediately follows the parade in McIntire Family Park, 8930 N. Government Way. Atlas Elementary and Hayden Meadows School Choruses sing, followed by a visit from Santa.
